Drugstore Skincare Products I Love

Drugstore Skincare Products. Drugstore aisle with products on shelves.

Today I am sharing the drugstore skincare products that I love.

I love skincare products - like, really love them. That feeling when you open a great moisturizer and slather it on for the first time, or when you rinse off your favorite face mask and your skin just glows. It's the best.

My love affair with the drugstore skincare aisle dates back to when I was finally old enough to walk to a local drugstore with my friends, and use my own money to buy Lip Smackers and Cover Girl pressed powders to add to my caboodle. Pure bliss.

Fast-forward many years and I still love to stroll down the drugstore skincare and beauty aisles. I really love when I find skincare products that not only work great, but are also at a great price point, and that are easily accessible at Target or my local drugstore.

Here are some of the drugstore skincare products I love - I think you'll love them too. As an added bonus, all of these products are considered 'clean.'

Drugstore favorite for moisturized skin: e.l.f. Holy Hydration Skincare

Maybe I'm late to the party on this one, I'm not sure. But recently I needed to pick up an inexpensive lipstick for my daughter's dance recital and so I ambled through the beauty aisles at Target and came across e.l.f, a brand that I remembered as having very inexpensive makeup, but I hadn't really explored in a while. I was shocked at how the line had grown.

The Holy Hydration line caught my attention and I picked up the Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm. I love this stuff. You use it on a dry face to melt your makeup away. It feels so good and has a very light scent that just smells clean and fresh. So of course I went back to try more from the line.

Next up was the Holy Hydration Face Cream , which has an amazing light texture but is still moisturizing and it feels so good going on. Perfect for summer. I saw online that they also have a version with SPF 30 as well. During the same visit, I also picked up the eye cream. This was also great, but to be honest the texture/scent/feel is very similar to the face cream so I don't know that you need both. Don't sleep on this brand, it's a winner.

I also found this starter/travel set on Amazon if you want to try the whole line: Hydrated Ever After Skincare Mini Set.

Drugstore favorite for clean and exfoliated skin: Acure Cleanser & Exfoliator

I wrote about these two products in my clean beauty favorites post. These are still two of my go-to's that I've repurchased many times. The cleanser really leaves your face feeling clean but not stripped and dry. The facial scrub is amazing. It might be a little rough for highly sensitive skin, but with a gentle touch you'll be amazed how soft your skin feels afterward. This set has both!

Drugstore favorite for acne: Hero Cosmetics Acne Products

Acne, ugh. Not just for the teen years unfortunately. Luckily I found Hero products and they are really, really good.

The Original Mighty Patch is a lifesaver for helping to get rid of pimples fast. I really don't like to be without these. The Pimple Correct Acne Clearing Gel Pen is a gel for early-stage pimples to stop them in their tracks. And the Rescue Balm + Red Correct is for post-pimple skin and it helps to correct and blur redness which I love. This one is pricier, but I purchased the small size and it's lasted me a while, a little goes a long way.

There are really so many great clean, effective, affordable skincare products out there. These are just a few recent products that I love. If you have any favorites, please comment below because I'm always looking for new things to try!
