A Few Things I'm Loving: July Edition

A Few Things I'm Loving: July Edition. Glass tumbler with chia pudding and blueberries on polka-dot napkin.

Today I am sharing some of my favorite things from July. The recipes I've been making on repeat, the products I've been reaching for, and the place where I've been spending a lot of time.

Here is my list of a few things I'm loving: July edition.

A Few Things I'm Loving This Month

#1: All the chia pudding recipes. During the summer I don't mind a cold breakfast, and chia pudding is a great option for a fiber and protein filled breakfast or snack that can be made in advance. There are so many different flavor variations out there. I recently shared on Instagram that I taught my almost-ten-year-old how to make it. Win-win for me since he not only eats it (yay!) but he can make it for both of us. 🙂 Check out this post with more easy and healthy breakfasts and my go-to chia pudding recipe.

#2: My local library. This is a year-round love, but we tend to use the library the most during the summer. I tend to have more time to read, so I am checking out more books, and my kids always participate in the library's summer reading program. We visit weekly, each of my kids picking a stack of books to read (or sometimes not, if I'm being honest) to fill up their reading logs. Even if they don't finish their books, I hope I'm instilling in them a love of books and reading. The library also has lots of free programs and story times that we also love to take advantage of.

#3: Trader Joe's Marula Facial Oil. This product is said to be a dupe for the pricey Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil ($68) - and it is only $6.99! I think I was late to the party on this one, but I just picked it up a month or so ago and I was very impressed. I love a facial oil as a last step in my skincare routine, especially during the cold fall and winter months. I'll use it during the warmer months as well anytime I feel like I need a little extra moisture.

#4: Saltair Seascape Serum Body Wash. This was a Target find at the start of summer. I couldn't resist the beautiful bottle (with a pump!) and the fresh scent. I really like it. This would also make a pretty hostess gift.

#5: Easy summer slides. These simple slides from Target's Shade & Shore line are perfect for the beach and pool. They are comfortable, easy to wash, and only $10!
