5 AI Hacks for Busy Moms

AI Hacks for Busy Moms. A woman's hands typing on the keyboard of a laptop computer.

Today I am sharing 5 great AI hacks for moms.

AI is here to stay, and so I've been playing around with ways to use it as a mom. It turns out, there are so many ways that you can use AI to save time, simplify, and lighten the mental load of motherhood.

There are lots of AI tools out there, but I have been using ChatGPT, as it's easy to use, free and easily accessible.

Here are my top 5 ChatGPT hacks for moms. Give them a try - I think you'll be amazed at how helpful it can be!

ChatGPT for Moms

My 5 favorite AI hacks for busy moms.

1. Meal planning.

One of my favorite ways to use ChatGPT is for meal planning! You can give a prompt such as: 'Create a weekly dinner plan for a family of 5 that includes chicken, ground beef, and vegetables. Make dinners gluten free, kid-friendly, healthy, and easy to prepare. Include a grocery list for this menu.' This is just one of many prompts, and you'll be amazed how quickly the work is done for you. You can continue to refine by asking for specific recipes, food substitutions, etc. Try it for meal planning, school lunch ideas, and more.

2. Chore charts for kids.

You can use prompts such as: 'Create a chore chart for kids aged 12, 9, and 6 with age-appropriate weekly chores.' Why start from scratch when you can have a chore chart in just a few minutes? You can also try reward charts, daily incentive charts, countdowns, and more.

3. Vacation planning.

Another one of my favorite ways to use AI, is vacation planning. You can try a prompt such as: 'Create a 4 day itinerary for Cape Cod with three kids, aged 12, 9, and 6 including both indoor and outdoor activities, and restaurants with gluten free, kid-friendly options.' (My actual prompt from this past summer!) These itineraries have saved me so much time when researching new destinations for our family vacations.

4. Schedules.

You can create all sorts of schedules from sleep schedules for babies, workout schedules, screen-time schedules and more. Try putting in your own to-do list for the week and ask for a schedule to help you complete it.

5. Gift ideas.

You can give ChatGPT a prompt such as: 'Give me a list of gift ideas for 5 year old active boys.' or 'What are the best holiday gifts for neighbors that are under $25?' So many possibilities, and so much time saved!

I will admit that I was a little skeptical about the uses of AI in my daily life when it first started becoming popular. After exploring a bit, I'm honestly amazed (and grateful) for the amount of time I've been able to save in so many different areas.

Give it a try and let me know what you think! And if you have an AI hack that has had an impact on motherhood for you, please share it below, I'd love to hear.
